Kaylie giggled at him. "Don't be sorry." She said looking at him with a smile. She never wanted him to feel sorry. He was a good boy. And pretty funny for what he did to Frankie-er, Scooter. Awh. Frankie's just a big bully with a heart of gold on the inside. He just wants to put a front up so that no one sees that he's a huge teddy bear. Only Kaylie knew that. Why? Because her parents and his parents are friends. Yuck. She smiled and rested her head against his as she continued to walk towards the Gryffindor tower. "He just wants to be with me. And I don't like him like him. So I walked away." She said with a nod, trying to answer it with the least amount of details that are appropriate for a child who is five years old.
Kaylie giggled at his question about the colors. She nodded. "Of course you can like them both. I do." She said with a nod and smile towards him. She wondered what made him so interested all of a sudden, in well, everything. She glanced to the side to see his head resting against her shoulder. She smiled at him. He seems tired. She mused to herself, as she started to ascend the stairs. She frowned at his answer. He was a Professor? She started to think of all of the male Professors in the school. Well obviously it wasn't Snape. She would know that it was him coming out of that room earlier that day, and it totally wasn't him. So, who else?
Kaylie frowned shen she heard a ow from him. "Are you hurt?" She asked worriedly, turning her head to the side to look at him. She then turned her head back to the front to watch her feet as she continued up the stairs. She nodded. "that's fine, thank you david." She said softly with a smile on her face. She held her hands tight on his legs so that he would fall, but it was hard because he was wiggling around so much, just like a kid. SHe blinked at him. "We're going to my room. It's pretty big. And we have our own bathroom and a bed for you and a bed for me. That's where we're going to sleep. And you're going to eat with me in the Great Hall. I hope you don't mind." Kaylie said softly before standing infront of the Fat Lady portrait.
The Fat Lady frowned upon seeing a boy on her back. "Who's the boy?" She asked gently to Kaylie. Kaylie smiled up at her. "I found him in the school, he's under my care now." Kaylie replied, making the Fat Lady smile back. "Does Dumbledore know?" The Fat Lady asked. Kaylie nodded. "Flubberworm." She said the password. The Fat Lady giggled and the portrait swung open, and gratefully, Kaylie stepped inside. "Well here's the common room. This is a nice place to talk with your friends, and hang out. But I see that you're tired, so we're going to go upstairs, okay?" She asked, turning her head slightly to look at David with a smile.
She started up the stairs, on the girl's side of course.
